Sand Raft
Dry season is coming.
Water didn’t drip from the sky. Nature law make sure that it entering deep into earth, then disappear in unlimited depth. The villagers are understanding that matter, because it use to happen every year. On the other hand, they also understand that in the rainy season will be lot of water at their yard. Everything happened as usual. The dryness of the well also drying the river. When at headwaters are dried, also at downstream. 12 metres widely, then it subsiding 8-10 metres. Leave behind a pile of earth. As usual it deeply, but now easily seeing. And then, it been doing at dry season : rice changing into sand. From the beginning planted rice, but now exploiting. From the beginning unemployed person, but now employee. From the beginning work at the other’s field, but now masterof their own field. At Opak RIver, Pundong, Yogyakarta, they changed sweat into a pile of river-sand.
